Boat to Terschelling

When you book at Goudberg Apartments, it is very wise to reserve the boat as soon as possible. Especially in the high season it is not pleasant to be forced to take the last boat (19.55). 

For Terschelling there is really only 1 shipping company where you can book. That is Rederij Doeksen. The boat sails from Harlingen and goes to West – Terschelling. You can go to the island with or without a car, provided that you have made a reservation in time. 

On the boat you can use the restaurant and read a newspaper. The crossing of the regular boat takes about 2 hours and gives the possibility to take the car or bicycle with you. The express boat takes about 45 minutes, but only passengers can travel there.

From the boat you can continue by bike or by bus. There are several bicycle rental companies at the harbour. They will bring your luggage to us free of charge, so you can enjoy your day without any worries. On the day of departure, your luggage will be collected from us. 

You can also have the bicycles delivered and picked up by us and take the bus to Baaiduinen. Line 1 and line 2 of Qbuzz both run through Baaiduinen. The buses leave a few minutes after the arrival of the boat. There are two stops: Kinnum, Kaard & Baaiduinen or De Stormvogel stop. Both stops are 100-200 metres away from Goudberg Apartments.
