Baaiduinen

Baaiduinen is the youngest village in Terschelling. The village was recognized as an independent settlement in the nineteenth century. The village is located west of the village of Midsland. Baaiduinen is surrounded by a number of small but much older settlements: Kinnum, Kaard, Horp and Hee. To the north of Baaiduinen is a vast polder area with the name "Het Hoge Land".

Baaiduinen is centrally located on Terschelling. From the port of West Terschelling it is a 10-minute drive by car and 20 minutes by bike. The beach of West aan Zee is 10 minutes by bike or 45 minutes walk. The shops of Midsland are 4 minutes by bike or a 15-minute walk.
